So what is Web 2.0?

You can't get very far these days on the Internet without interacting a bit. You have to specify preferences, give some information about yourself or submit some kind of data to really get the full experience of the Web. Enter Web 2.0. So what is web 2.0? Is it just a term used because the Internet has been around long enough to say that we are through a first phase? According to Wikipedia, Web 2.0 is not completely described as a technology but rather new things that are becoming popular. Using different technologies and putting a new spin on existing things using API's Web 2.0 is a way of saying things just keep on getting better on the Internet. I have to agree!
